Each meridian has its respective functions, blood track and provides energy towards the organs. Although the meridians is intangible, in the past half-century, scientists have proved the existence of the meridians through a detection of acoustic-optical instruments. For example, when pressing a probe on an acupoint, it indicates very large reaction, but very small markers on a non-acupoint. Therefore, modern medicals validates that meridian is a core of living life system, a structured linkage system of matter, energy, and information, which not only has the function of running Qi, blood and conveying nutrients, but also an information messenger network between the cells of the human body.
